Western Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90018 (213) 744-7000 | SCLARC is a regional non-profit organization that serves community members and families with “intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and other similar disabilities(South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, n.d., para. 1-2).” It provides services including behavior intervention, Clinical Services, and Lanterman act services. The parent resource center also provides essential supports for parents to build the capacities together to better support the children with special needs. |

Programs are Emergency Youth Shelter “open to any runaway, homeless, or throwaway teenager (ages 10-17),” domestic violence program open to domestic violence victims and their children, community service center programs offering mental health therapy, job development, and legal support (1736 Family Crisis Center, n.d.). |

It offers mental health consulting for children, youth, young adults(up to 25) and their families by addressing trauma, stabilizing families, behavior intervention, etc. |
West Adams Preparation High School Parent Center Contact: Diana Quiroga diana.quiroga@lausd.net (323)373-2126 | Parent Center supports parents and students to build their capacities to succeed in school and “preserve their roots”. The parent center facilitates the training of parent portal, Language programs, how to develop math skills at home, and lectures on Socratic Seminar(Quiroga, Personal Interview, January 21, 2020). They also refer students and parents to the outside community resources when needed. |
